Viruses and Hoaxes

I often get mails from people telling me to forward these mail urgently to everyone I know. Most of this mails tell me that my computer is infected my a virus and I should delete certain files from my computer. 100% of THESE MAILS ARE HOAXES THAT MEANS JUST BULLSHIT! The virus is the mail itself, spreading around the world. The files you're asked to delete are in most cases part of your windows-system. Please visit on of the hoax-warning pages i've listed before you even thing of forwarding such a mail. You can be sure that nearly every mail including lines like forward this mail to everyone you know is a so called HOAX. Yes, that even includes mails telling sad stories about little girls/boys that have to die if you don't forward this mail to everyone you know.

  • You should sometimes take look at Pythonline, one of the few really "official" pages on the WWW. A must for every Monty Python fan. BTW: the cartoons are changed very often.
  • Just the words... has all the words online!!! Parrot sketch included!!!
  • Douglas Admas official site. Adams sadly died at the age of 49 on 11th may 2001 following a heart attack.
  • Douglas Adams has developed a real Hitchhiker's Guide on the internet (for use on earth only) called h2g2.
